1. Urgency granted.
2. This is an application for return of
surety. It appears that protective/transitory bail was granted to accused Muhammad
Iqbal for seven days by this Court vide order dated 29.08.2024 in the sum of
Rs.100,000/- and P.R bond in the like amount. Surety was furnished by Saad Sumair son of Muhammad Yaseen by depositing cash. It is stated that accused Muhammad
Iqbal surrendered before the trial Court on 04.09.2024 and he has been granted
interim pre-arrest bail. Copy of order dated 04.09.2024 is annexed along with
the application of return of surety.
Special prosecutor NAB recorded no objection
for return of surety.
In the view of above, application for
return of surety is allowed. Nazir is directed to
return the cash to the surety, after proper verification and identification as
per Rules.
