                        Consequent upon service of notice u/s 514, Cr.PC, surety Hakim Ali having CNIC No.43503-0367127-5 has appeared and submits that appellant Piyaro has gone underground and his present whereabouts are not known. He submits that despite all-out efforts he could not trace out appellant Piyaro. He, therefore, submits that finding no other way-out, he is ready to deposit the penalty of Rs.200,000/-, being full surety amount in respect of appellant Piyaro.

                        Accordingly, the bail granted to appellant Piyaro by suspending his sentence vide order dated 07.07.2020, is hereby cancelled; the bail bond furnished by him is forfeited and his surety is confiscated along with its interest, if any. Office shall initiate requisite proceedings for forfeiture of the surety bond and after confiscation of Savings Certificate produced by surety in respect of appellant Piyaro and depositing it’s amount in the relevant head of account, submit such report for perusal of the Court. Further appearance of surety Hakim Ali is hereby dispensed with, on his undertaking regarding continuous appearance of appellant Barkat before the Court in future.

                        The matter is adjourned to 15.01.2024.
