ORDER

Agha Faisal, J.         Petitioner seeks promotion from Assistant Manager to Deputy Manager, BPS-17 to BPS-18, on the basis of a cause allegedly accruing in 2016. This petition was preferred in 2022, apparently on a cause alleged to have arisen in 2016, therefore, barred by laches. Furthermore, the relief sought is in a service matter is with respect to GENCO, admittedly devoid of statutory rules. It is also observed that an earlier petition, CP D 442 of 2018, was dismissed as withdrawn on 16.03.2022 and no case is set forth to entertain a second petition in the same matter. Under these circumstances, no case is made out for assumption of jurisdiction in this matter, hence this petition is dismissed.
