Petitioner is called absent, no intimation is received. Notices were issued in the instant matter, however, subject to its maintainability. No one is in attendance on behalf of the respondents, except learned Addl. A.G. Sindh, who submits that instant petition is misconceived and not maintainable, as it contains generalize allegations, however, besides creating harassment to various Government functionaries, revolves around load shedding in Karachi by K-Electric.

From perusal of the memo of petition, it appears that it contains generalize allegations and the references to the correspondence exchanged between the Government functionaries relating to supply of electricity through K-Electric, whereas, the petitioner appears to have expressed his grievance against the load shedding, however, no schedule /timing with regard to load shedding has been mentioned in the instant petition. It appears that there is no load shedding schedule attached, which could be examined by this Court in its Constitutional jurisdiction. Moreover, petitioner has not approached the NEPRA by filing any complaint to this effect and directly approached this Court under Article 199 of the Constitution by raising generalized allegations. Accordingly, instant petition is misconceived and not maintainable, which is hereby dismissed alongwith listed application. It is, however, observed that K-Electric and NEPRA shall look into the matter to ensure smooth supply of electricity to the consumers in accordance with law.
