Mr. Azizul Haque Solangi, Asst. A. G., and Mr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, State Counsel, alongwith SIP Imam Bux Lashari, S.H.O of PS Kety Mumtaz.

                   The raid commissioner has reported that on 29.5.2009 at 6.30 p.m. he found detenues Altaf Hussain, Mustafa Kamal and Babar detained at P.P. Pir Ghozo of P.S Kety Mumtaz and according to the S.H.O of P.S Kety Mumtaz they were arrested under suspicion.

                   The Asst. A. G., has filed statement of SIP Imam Bux Lashari mentioning therein that the detenues were arrested on 29.5.2009 at 1430 hours at Chor Pattan under suspicion.  However, he released the detenues immediately after the raid of the raid commissioner.

                   The detenues controvert the statement of SIP Imam Bux and state that as a matter of fact they had been arrested on 26.5.2009 by Kamber-Shahdadkot police, who had handed over their custody to S.H.O of PS Kety Mumtaz.  They complain many things against Kamber-Shahdadkot police.

                    After the release of the detenues the purpose of the present habeas corpus petition stands satisfied and, therefore, learned Counsel for the petitioner doesn’t press it further as, according to him, the petitioner and the detenues shall seek their remedy regarding high handedness of police by filing proper proceedings against them.

                   In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of.
