Learned D.A.G. has filed a statement alongwith copy of report, wherein, it has been stated that Ministry of Law and Justice has already established a central repository database for the provision of primary legislation (Acts, Ordinances) and secondary legislation (SRO’s, Rules, etc) to the citizens of Pakistan through web portal hosted on http://pakistancode.gov.pk. It has been further stated that the gazette notification of the other Federal Government, pertaining to other Federal Ministries/Divisions are uploaded by the concerned Ministries / Divisions.

Learned Asst. A.G. Sindh and Law Officers submit that similar statement has already been filed on behalf of the Provincial Government. Learned DAG and AAG submit that since the purpose of filing instant petition has been served, therefore, the same may be disposed of accordingly. Learned counsel holding brief for Mr. Abdur Rahman in view of the statement filed on behalf of the Federal and Provincial Governments is satisfied and does not press instant petition.

In view of the statements filed on behalf of the Federal and Provincial Government, above petition stands disposed of alongwith listed applications.
