ORDER

Agha Faisal, J.         The petitioner has sought appointment with the respondent on the basis of deceased quota, in the manifest absence of any law providing for consideration of such appointment.

2.            On successive previous dates the petitioner's counsel sought adjournments to satisfy this Court on the ground of maintainability and to identify any vested right of the petitioner to claim such entitlement and the same was the case today.

3.            Admittedly, Rule 11-A of the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules 1974 does not apply to the petitioner as his deceased father was never a civil servant. Petitioner's counsel has remained unable to assist us with any law that would vest the petitioner with any entitlement to be considered on a deceased quota.

4.            In view hereof, we are constrained to observe that no case has been set forth for the invocation of the discretionary writ jurisdiction of this Court, hence, this petition is hereby dismissed.
