The petitioners in this petition are trespassers / encroachers of the land alongside the river bank. They have been dispossessed and the land was resumed from these encroachers. This petition is in respect of compensation which they claim from the Government of Sindh. It is their claim that a summary is pending before worthy Chief Minister which is seriously denied by the learned AAG.

Under no stretch of imagination these trespassers / encroachers could claim compensation from this Court in respect of the land which they occupied illegally and unlawfully. They cannot place reliance on other encroachers who were given compensation. In case they claim that their grievance in the shape of summary is pending, let it be decided as deem fit and proper in accordance with law, however, no indulgence could be given to these illegal occupants by providing them compensation as they claim in this petition. The petition has no merits which is dismissed along with listed application. Nomenclature
