This petition is filed against the concurrent findings of the two courts below. The trial Court decreed the suit for the recovery of dowry articles which order was maintained by the appellate Court. The appellate Court while going through the evidence is of the view that nothing substantial was asked from the plaintiff / respondent. Even the contents of the dowry articles were not denied as apparent from the cross-examination conducted by the petitioner’s counsel. To the contrary, the value as suggested by petitioner’s counsel was more than claimed by the respondent / plaintiff. It is nowhere denied that she has not brought the articles, the value of which is being claimed here and it is not suggested that she has taken these articles back while she obtained khula from the Court. No error apparent on the face of it, has been pointed out. There is no illegality or irregularity, as such the petition, being misconceived, is dismissed along with listed applications.
