In this petition the petitioner has raised serious apprehension about his life and liberty and has complained that private respondents have caused immense harassment and mental torture to the petitioner and police officials have not discharged their functions accordingly. Though the learned State Counsel has disputed such allegations and stated that police officials will act strictly within parameters of law if any complaint is lodged to them.

In view of the above and considering the facts that adequate and efficacious remedy is available to petitioner, instant petition is not maintainable in its present form, as perusal of the case shows that primarily dispute between petitioner and private respondents pertains to some commercial transaction. Accordingly this petition is dismissed leaving the petitioner to avail his remedy as provided under the law including filing of such complaint before police officials and if such application is filed they will take action accordingly.
