Applicant/accused Farooq Ali son of Muhammad Soomar Khan seeks protective bail in F.I.R. No.29/2019, registered at P.S. Muhabat Dero, District Naushahro Feroze, for offences under sections 302, 324, 149, 386, PPC, read with section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997.

It is inter alia contended that applicant/accused is prepared to surrender before the trial court but apprehends his arrest at the hands of the police for mala fide reasons. Serious mala fides on the part of the complainant and police have been alleged.

Without touching the merits of the case, protective bail for a period of five (5) days from today is granted to applicant/accused Farooq Ali son of Muhammad Soomar Khan, subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) and P.R. bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Applicant/accused is directed to surrender before the trial court, in the aforesaid period. He is also directed to join the investigation. This order shall cease to have its effect after expiry of five days from today or whenever the applicant/accused surrenders before the trial Court, which one occurs earlier.

Application is accordingly disposed of.
