Through letter dated 03.4.2009 Mr. Moazam Ali Assistant Director (E-II), Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad has informed that Mr. Syed Ahmed Maroof on whom summons has to be served has  returned to Pakistan after serving the High Commission in London many years ago and therefore, has stated that the summons cannot  be served upon him in U.K. Plaintiff Counsel states that the defendant No.2 may not be posted in the High Commission in London but still serving in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan but the plaintiff is not aware of his present posting. Consequently, the Assistant Director (E-II), Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad is directed to inform this Court about the present posting of Syed Ahmed Maroof so that summons can be served upon him personally through modes provided by law. Such compliance be made within two weeks.
