3&4) Per learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner received a
call up notice dated 02.08.2017 available as annexure “P-1” at page-15 with MoP
in respect of the inquiry against the officers/officials of Culture Tourism
& Antique Department, Government of Sindh. In response to said notice the
petitioner attended the office of the respondent No.2 on 07.08.2017, his
statement was recorded by the NAB officials wherein per learned counsel for the
petitioner the petitioner denied his involvement in the alleged misuse of
authority or misappropriation of funds. Learned counsel further submits that
petitioner is apprehending his malafide arrest for humiliation and harassment
at the hands of respondents therefore, he approached to this Court.
Without dilating upon the merits of the case, ad-interim pre-arrest bail is granted to the petitioner subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.1,000,000/- (Rupees One Million only) and P.R. Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Petitioner is directed to appear before the NAB authorities in respect of subject inquiry/investigation as and when he is called for.
Issue notice to the respondents, Special Prosecutor NAB and DAG for next date of hearing. For confirmation or otherwise, adjourned to 21.06.2018.
