3&4) Per learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is Director
of a company Elite Publishers Ltd., and purchased the plot for company through
two registered conveyance deeds after completing all legal formalities. Copies
of registered conveyance deeds are available as annexures “P/4 & P/5” at
pages 21 and 41 with MoP. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contends
that on 31.08.2017 and 15.09.2017 respondent No.2 issued call up notices to the
petitioner in respect of investigation against Gul Hassan Channa, Former
Secretary R.S & E.P., Government of Sindh and others, which are available
as annexures “P/1 and P/2” at pages-13 & 15 with MoP. Learned counsel for
the petitioner contends that petitioner submitted a statement/reply of the call
up notices, which were delivered in the office of respondent No.2 and same is
available as annexure “P/3” at page-17 with MoP. Learned counsel further
contends that officials of the respondents Nos.1 and 2 are verbally threatening
the petitioner to arrest him for harassment and humiliation therefore, he
approached to this Court.
Without dilating upon the merits of the case, ad-interim pre-arrest bail is granted to the petitioner subject to furnishing solvent surety in the sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lacs only) and P.R. Bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Nazir of this Court. Petitioner is directed to cooperate with the NAB officials in investigation of the subject matter and to appear as and when he is called for.
Issue notice to the respondents and Special Prosecutor NAB for next date of hearing. For confirmation or otherwise, adjourned to 12.07.2018.
