Aftab Ahmed Gorar, J.:- In pursuance of notice, respondents 5 & 6 files comments which are taken on the record, copies of same have been provided to learned counsel for the petitioner. Averments of petition reveals that through this petition the petitioner sought directions to respondents 4 to 6 not to cause harassment to the petitioner and provide legal protection. After going through the comments of respondents 5 & 6 filed today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be satisfied if this petition is disposed of with directions to official respondents to act in accordance with law and provide necessary legal protection in the manner that no one shall cause him harassment.
2. Learned Additional Advocate General, Sindh as well as learned Deputy Prosecutor General, Sindh and learned counsel representing the Pakistan Rangers submit that State functionaries are legally bound to provide legal protection to all the citizens including the petitioner without any discrimination. They ensure that official respondents shall conduct themselves strictly in accordance with law and provide legal protection to the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner being satisfied with the above statement, seeks disposal of instant petition. In such view of the matter, the instant petition is disposed of with directions to official respondents to conduct themselves strictly in accordance with law and provide legal protection of life, honour and property to the petitioner in the manner that no one shall cause harassment to the petitioner.
