This appeal is directed against the judgment dated 21.03.2018 passed by learned Judge Anti-Terrorism Court No.XVII, Karachi in Special Case No. 322 of 2015 arising out of FIR No. 34/2014 under section 302/324/34 PPC read with section 7 of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 registered with Police Station Sharifabad, Karachi whereby appellants were convicted and sentenced for imprisonment for life and to pay fine of Rs.1,00,000/- each in case of failure to suffer further SI for six months. However, benefit of section 382-B Cr.P.C. was extended to the appellants and it was observed that all the sentences shall run concurrently.
Be that as it may, appeal under section 25 of Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 being statutory right of appellants is admitted. Call for R&P and paper book be prepared at the cost of appellants. Let notice be issued to the Prosecutor General Sindh for a date to be fixed by the office.
