Statement dated 27.4.2016 has been filed along with annexures on behalf of Assistant Executive Engineer Nara Sub-division Sukkur as well as on behalf of respondent No.2, wherein it has been stated that order passed by this court has duly been complied with and new share list in respect of watercourse No.3-R of government lift channel at RD-158 R/side of Nara canal has been sent to executive Engineer Nara Canal Division Khairpur for sanction vide letter No.CA/D-55/19 dated 15.2.2016. Today, neither petitioner nor petitioner’s counsel is present. No intimation received. It appears that in view of such undertaking of alleged contemnor, the petitioner’s grievance has been redressed. However, while disposing of the instant contempt application we may observe that needful shall be done positively within period of four weeks and respondents shall ensure that petitioner and khatedars who are found to be legible for supplying of water as per share list, water shall be supplied to them strictly without any discrimination.
Contempt application stands disposed of.
