Petitioner and his counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 05.12.2012 whereby the petitioner has claimed his salaries with effect from May, 1999 and has also prayed that the respondents may be directed to regularize his service.

Notices were issued, pursuant to which Srichand, Assistant Engineer Sub Division Pano Akil, Public Health Engineering Department, Sukkur, have shown appearance and submits that as per his information, the petitioner is being paid his salaries, however, since he is a daily-wages employee, therefore, his service has not been regularized, whereas, there is no regular post available in the respondent Department, therefore, his request cannot be acceded to.

It appears that after filing instant petition, the petitioner has not come forward to proceed with the matter, who appears to have lost interest. Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
