Petitioners and their Counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 27.9.2013, whereby petitioners have expressed their grievance regarding alleged excessive bills issued to the petitioners by the SEPCO authorities. Learned D.A.G has raised an objection with regard to maintainability of instant petition, as according to him the petitioners have alternate remedy to approach the Electric Inspector, Sukkur as well as NEPRA for redressal of their grievance in accordance with law. Contention raised by learned D.A.G appears to be correct. Since petitioners and their Counsel are not coming forward to proceed with the matter, which is pending since 2013 without any useful progress. This Court has left with no option except to dismiss instant petition for non-prosecution, which is hereby dismissed as such along with listed application.
