Petitioner and his Counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 23.10.2012, whereby the petitioner has prayed that the respondent No.3 may be directed to provide irrigation water to the lands of the petitioner as per share list in respect of various survey numbers mentioned in the memo of petition. However, record shows that after having filed instant petition, petitioner and his Counsel have not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter, who appear to have lost interest or his grievance stands redressed. Today neither petitioner nor his Counsel are not in attendance. Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. However, if the petitioner is still aggrieved by inaction of the official respondents for supply of water to his lands will be at liberty to approach the concerned Irrigation Officer who shall consider the request of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.
