                        Petitioners and their Counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 26.3.2012, whereby the petitioners claimed to have contracted freewill marriage, sought protection of this Court and qaushment of FIR No.88 of 2012 registered at police station, Moro, regarding abduction of petitioner No.1 Mst. Rana Sultana.

 

                        Notices were issued in the matter on 26.3.2012 to the respondents with direction to the concerned police to provide protection to the petitioners, whereas I.O of the aforesaid F.I.R was summoned. However, it appears that thereafter the matter has not been fixed in Court during all these years, it appears that either the grievance of the petitioners stand redressed, therefore, they lost interest to proceed with the matter, which is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution. However, if the claim of the petitioners is found to be correct, in view of the statement of Mst. Rana Sultana, the concerned police is directed to provide protection to the petitioners as per law and to ensure that they may not be harassed.
