Petitioner is called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 11.03.2011, whereby the petitioner has sought directions of this Court to the Municipal authorities to perform their duties and to lodge FIR against the delinquent persons on whose negligence one Shahnila Kalhoro died on account of attack of stray dog.

However, record shows that after having filed instant petition, the petitioner has not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter, which is pending since 2011 without any useful progress. Whereas, it appears that instant petition was filed on the basis of news clipping and no other material has been placed on record, which may require this Court to probe into the matter. Instant petition is pending since 2011 and the petitioner has not proceeded with the matter with due diligence.

Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
