After arguing the matter at some length, when confronted as to maintainability of instant petition, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners will not press instant petition and will seek their remedy in accordance with law for the recovery of their outstanding bills / amounts. Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed as not pressed.

However, it is expected that respondents will ensure that all public works shall be completed within specified time without seeking revision of Schemes unnecessarily, whereas, outstanding admitted amount in respect of Contractors shall be paid without unnecessary delay, however, after proper verification and completion of codal formalities in this regard.
