Petitioners and their counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 29.04.2013 by the petitioners seeking quashment of about six FIRs registered at various police stations of District Naushahro Feroze. However, record shows that after having filed instant petition, the petitioners and their counsel have not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter which was fixed on 30.04.2013 when notices were issued to the respondents, who were directed not to proceed further in respect of aforesaid FIRs.

Today, Shahab Akbar, SHO, PS, Padidan, SIP Muhammad Nawaz of PS Kot Mitha, ASI Ali Akbar and ASI Lutfullah of PS Tharushah, ASI Sikandar of PS Mithyani and ASI Imam Bux of PS Darya Khan have shown appearance, whereas, comments have been filed on behalf of respondents No.5, 7, 10 as well as IO of crime No.3/2013 PS Kot Mitha and IO of crime No.16/2013 of PS Tharu Shah along with annexures. Learned State Counsel submits that the said FIRs have duly been challaned before the competent Courts of jurisdiction, whereas, instant petition contains false allegations.

It appears that in view of hereinabove facts, the petitioners and their counsel have lost interest to proceed with the matter, which is pending since 2013 without useful progress, whereas, challan in the aforesaid FIRs have already been submitted before the trial Courts as stated by the learned State Counsel. Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed for non-prosecution, however, it is observed that the petitioner will be at liberty to seek appropriate remedy by approaching the competent Court of jurisdiction in accordance with law.
