Petitioners
and their Counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was
filed on 23.1.2013 by the petitioners, seeking quashment of F.I.R No.124 of
2012 registered at police station, Kot diji, District Khairpur regarding
alleged abduction of petitioner No.1 Mst. Parveen Bibi and as per contents of
instant petition, she being sui-juris contracted marriage out of her own
freewill without any pressure or coercion with petitioner No.2 Ahsan Ali and
also appeared in Court on 23.1.2013 reiterating the said contentions.
Notices
were issued to respondents, whereas protection was provided and respondents
were directed not to cause harassment or to arrest anyone nominated in the
aforesaid F.I.R. However record shows that since 21.5.2013 the petitioners and
their Counsel have not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter, who to
appear to have lost interest or their grievance has been redressed.
Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of along with listed application.
