Through instant petition, the petitioner has sought for protection and directions to the concerned police to establish police picket in the vicinity of the petitioner’s land as according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, continuous harassment is being caused by private respondents who are involved in criminal cases and continuously making attempts to dispossess the petitioner from subject land. It has been further stated that civil dispute over his land is pending before the competent court of jurisdiction, however, the concerned police may be directed to take action against such criminals who are required in criminal cases.

Pursuant to court notice comments have been filed by S.S.P Naushehro Feroz and S.H.O P.S Naushehro Feroze, wherein it has been stated that there is civil dispute between the parties, whereas the police is willing and ready to provide protection in accordance with law, as regards the request of the petitioner for establishing police picket, it has been stated that in view of paucity of funds and strength the request of the petitioner cannot be entertained at this stage, however, if the facts may so warrant, necessary steps in this regard may also be taken in accordance with law and as per policy.

In view of such statement, learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied.
