Pursuant to Court notice, Mr. Muhammad Zubair Malik, Special Prosecutor NAB has filed statement dated 27.04.2016 on behalf of respondents Nos.1 to 3 along with annexures, which is taken on record and copy supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. Learned Special Prosecutor NAB submits that since the name of the petitioner has not been mentioned in the Reference No.04/2016 filed before the Accountability Court, whereas, the petitioner is no more required by the NAB authorities, therefore, instant petition may be disposed of accordingly.

Learned counsel for the petitioner in view of such factual position as stated by the Special Prosecutor, NAB, does not oppose disposal of instant petition in the aforesaid terms.

Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of. Since the petitioner is no more required by the NAB authorities or the Accountability Court, the surety amount deposited with the Additional Registrar of this Court may be returned to the surety after proper verification and identification.
