Mr. Noor Hassan Malik, Asstt: A.G along with ASI Shafqat Faiz of Police Station, Rohri.

Through instant petition, petitioner alleges harassment by the police at the behest of private respondents in respect of some dispute over house in village Loung Bhatti, Taluka Rohri, District Sukkur.

Notice were issued, pursuant to which ASI Shafqat Faiz shown appearance and filed statements on behalf of SHO Police Station, Rohri, respondent No.3 so also on behalf of S.S.P, Sukkur Respondent No.2, wherein the allegations of harassment have been denied and it is stated that no harassment whatsoever has been caused to the petitioner, whereas, there is some private dispute between the parties.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will be satisfied, if police officials may be directed not to cause harassment for petitioner against some illegal acts by private respondents in respect of civil dispute between the parties.

Since allegations of harassment by the police have been denied, whereas, admittedly there is some private dispute over a house between the private parties, instant petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to ensure that no harassment is caused to the petitioner, whereas in case of any claim by the private respondents, proper proceedings may be filed in accordance with law.
