Pursuant to Court notice, ASI Khan Muhammad Brohi, I.O Crime No. 36 of 2016, shown appearance and filed statement wherein he has stated that in view of statement of Mst. Zahida D/o Ali Hassan, the report for disposal of F.I.R No.36/2016 registered at Police Station, Kashmore under Section 365-B, 148, 149 PPC, has been submitted before learned Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate, Kashmore, who has passed the order on such F.I.R which has been disposed of in “C” class.

Petitioners present in Court verify such position, however, submits that the private respondents are still causing harassment and have threatened that the petitioner will be declared as “Karo-Kari”, hence request that petitioners may be provided protection in respect of their freewill marriage.

Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of, with direction to the concerned police to ensure that no harassment whatsoever shall be caused to the petitioners in respect of their freewill marriage, who shall be provided, whereas, in case that any of the respondents issued any sort of threats to threats to the petitioners regarding declaring them as Karo-Kari or any violation of law, appropriate action will be taken against them in accordance with law.
