Through instant petition, petitioner has alleged harassment by the police at the instance of private respondents, who according to learned Counsel for petitioner, are required in Crime No. 23/2015 which has been got registered by nephew of the present petitioner, and in retaliation and to drag the petitioner in false cases, respondents have implicated the petitioner in false cases. However, record shows that no details of such false cases has been mentioned in the instant petition. Whereas, pursuant to court notice, statement has been filed by respondents No.3 to 5, wherein, it has been stated that no harassment whatsoever has been caused to the petitioner by the police nor any case has been registered against the petitioner.

Ali Murad, respondent No.6 has also shown appearance and submits that he has not caused any harassment to the petitioner nor intends to involve him in any false cases.

In view of such statements of the concerned police and respondent No.6, petitioner is satisfied. Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of, however, with the directions to respondents to act strictly in accordance with law and to ensure that no harassment shall be caused to petitioner who shall be dealt in accordance with law. .
