Mr.Noor Hassan Malik, Asstt: A.G along with SIP Syed Mehar Ali Shah, SHO Police Station ‘A’ Section, Khairpur Mir’s.

Through instant petition, petitioner has alleged harassment by the police at the instance of private respondents with whom per learned Counsel for petitioner there is some civil dispute with regard to payment of amount. Per learned Counsel the petitioner is willing to pay back the amount to respondents, provided that protection may be given to the petitioner and the respondents may be restrained from causing any harassment.

SIP Syed Mehar Ali Shah, SHO Police Station ‘A’ Section, Sukkur pursuant to Court notices has shown his appearance and submits that no harassment whatsoever has been caused by the police to the petitioner. However, it appears that there is some private dispute between the parties in respect of money. He has further stated that the police will not interfere in private dispute between the parties, if cognizable offence is reported he will act strictly in accordance with law.

In view of statement made herein above, learned Counsel for petitioner being satisfied does not press this petition, which is accordingly disposed of.
