C.P.No.D-971  of  2012

         For Katcha Peshi

29.04.2016

Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Sangi advocate for petitioner.

Mr. Shaharyar Awan, Assistant Advocate General.

                                    ................

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will not press instant petition provided the respondents may be directed to act strictly in accordance with law and to ensure that no illegal extortion in the garb of agricultural tax etc. shall be made.

It appears that no such directions are issued to the official respondent, who are duty bound to act strictly in accordance with law, whereas, in case the petitioner is liable to pay any tax, the same shall be paid and collected strictly in accordance with law and not by way of extortion, as alleged by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of.
