Petitioner and her counsel called absent, no intimation received. Instant petition was filed on 13.02.2012 alleging harassment by the respondents and seeking quashment of FIR No.08/2012 registered at police station, Tharushah by her father regarding alleged abduction of Mst.Noshaba alias Noshee d/o Arbab Ali.

Today, further statement has been filed on behalf of SHO, PS, Tharushah wherein it has been stated that interim challan in the instant matter was submitted before the Court of 1^st Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate, Bhiria, however, SIP Munir Ahmed, SHO, PS, Tharushah present in Court submits that as per his information, the aforesaid FIR has been disposed of in “C” class. Learned AAG submits that instant petition may be disposed of as the purpose of filing the same has been achieved.

Accordingly, instant petition is being disposed of with directions to concerned police to provide protection to the petitioner in respect of her freewill marriage in accordance with law, whenever, she requires. However, if aforesaid FIR has not so far been disposed of keeping in view the statement of Mst.Noshaba alias Noshee as referred to hereinabove, needful shall be done strictly in accordance with law and compliance report shall be submitted through Additional Registrar of this Court.
