Learned counsel for petitioner submits that
petitioner has not come forward to issue any instruction, however, submits that
since the matter pertains to public interest with regard to non-repairs/non-constructions
of drainage system and roads in Faizganj, hence
necessary directions may be issued to the official respondents so that the grievance
of the petitioner and other residents of Faizganj may
be redressed.
Through instant petition, the
petitioner has expressed the grievance towards non-repair/non-construction of
drainage system and roads in Faizganj by the official
respondents, who according to petitioner, have not carried out repair and
construction work of roads and drainage in Faizganj. However, since instant
petition was filed in the year 2013, the petitioner has not come forward to
proceed with the matter who appears to have lost interest to proceed with the
matter. It reflects that either petitioner has lost his interest and the
needful has been done , or the construction work is in
progress.
Accordingly, we will dispose of
instant petition with directions to the concerned respondents to ensure that if
construction of drainage system and the roads in taluka
Faizganj has not been carried out so far, needful shall
be done at earliest and the grievance of the petitioner and other residents of
aforesaid taluka shall be redressed strictly in
accordance with law on priority basis.
Instant petition is disposed of
along with listed application in the above terms.
