Petitioner and his counsel called absent, no intimation received.

Instant petition was filed on 02.02.2012, thereafter the petitioner’s counsel has not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter. On 12.03.2014 when the matter was taken up, no one was in attendance on behalf of petitioner.

Today, neither the petitioner nor his counsel is in attendance. Comments have been filed by the respondents wherein the allegations contained in the petition are blind, however, the petitioner through instant petition has sought for directions of this Court for concerned respondents to ensure that there shall be no illegal cutting of the trees, therefore, we would dispose of instant petition with directions to the respondents to ensure that the environment shall be protected strictly in accordance with law and no one shall be allowed to cut trees without permission from the concerned department or the environmental agency .

Instant petition is disposed of in the above terms.
