Through instant petition, the petitioner has alleged harassment by WAPDA authorities through police, whereas, illegal gratification is being demanded in respect of electricity bills. However, after having filed instant petition on 22.12.2012 the petitioner has not remained vigilant to proceed with the matter, whereas, record shows that except copies of unpaid electricity bills, nothing has been placed on record to support the allegation of petitioner. It appears that petitioner in order to avoid payment of electricity dues, has filed instant petition without placing any material to prove such allegation.

Accordingly, instant petition is dismissed, however, respondents shall ensure that the petitioner will not be harassed in respect of electricity bills provided the petitioner continue to pay the regular electricity bills.
