Pursuant to Court notice, SIP Muhammad Sharif of PS C-Section, Sukkur and ASI Muhammad Iqbal of PS Geehalpur have shown appearance and submit that in view of statement of petitioner No.1 Mst. Najma recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C, report under Section 174 Cr.P.C has been submitted before concerned Judicial Magistrate for disposal of the case under “C” class. It has been further stated that police did not arrest the petitioners in the aforesaid crime. Petitioner No.2 Asghar Ali has shown appearance, who has verified such position, however, states that his wife Mst. Najma is presently residing with her parents as she is not feeling well.

In view of such position, learned counsel for the petitioners is satisfied and does not press instant petition. Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of. Concerned police is directed to provide protection to the petitioners in respect of their freewill marriage and no harassment shall be caused to them. IO is directed to place on record the order passed by the concerned Judicial Magistrate on the report submitted for disposal of the case under “C” class, within two weeks.

Petition stands disposed of along with listed application.
