            The aforesaid petitions along with contempt applications filed therein are being disposed of by consent of all parties, in the following terms:

 

1.                     That the petitioners in the aforesaid petitions and the applicants in the contempt applications filed in the aforesaid petitions shall apply to the relevant Departments for their appointment on deceased quota basis, within 15 days from the order of this Court, along with requisite documents showing their eligibility, as per relevant rules, policy and Notification No.SORI(SGA/CD)2-3/2002(P-II)dated 06.09.2014, issued by the Chief Secretary, Services and General Administration, Government of Sindh, whereby amendments have been introduced under rule 10 (a) and rule 11 (a) of Sindh Civil Servants (appointment, promotion and transfer) Rules, 1974, and according to learned counsel for petitioners and learned state counsel, the clog of cutoff date has been done away.

 

2.                     The respondents in the above petitions i.e the respective Departments of Government of Sindh, shall consider the applications of the petitioners for their appointments on Deceased quota, strictly in accordance with law, rules and the aforesaid Notification, which shall be decided within a period of three months from the date of receipt of such applications along with requisite documents, however as per spirit of the aforesaid Notification, whereafter, compliance report may be furnished to this Court through Additional Registrar of this Court.

 

3.                     Above disposal of the cases is however, subject to any decision/judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court or High Court on the subject controversy, wherein, the effect or implementations of the above Notification would have been examined and decided otherwise.

                        All the above petitions and contempt applications stand disposed of in the above terms.
