Pursuant to Court notice Talib Hussain Khokhar, Focal Person has shown appearance on behalf of respondents Nos.2 and 3 and submits that as per the service record of petitioner, his date of birth is 29.06.1967, which was recorded pursuant to original NIC issued in favour of the petitioner, however, since in the CNIC issued to the petitioner subsequently, the year of his birth has been wrongly shown as 1955. Per learned counsel, in view of computerized system of disbursement of salaries, his salary has not been released, however, the petitioner is still performing his duties.

Mr. Ghulam Hassan Advocate has also shown appearance on behalf of NADRA and submits that as per his instructions, NADRA has prepared revised CNIC in respect of petitioner, which is ready for delivery, wherein correct date of birth of the petitioner has been mentioned as per his original NIC and service record i.e. 29.06.1967. It has been stated that the petitioner can collect the same from NADRA at any working day.

In view of such position, as stated by the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied and submits that the instant petition may be disposed of, however, the respondents Nos.2 and 3 may be directed to allow the petitioner to continue his service on the basis of his correct date of birth i.e. 29.06.1967, whereas, his outstanding salaries may also be released. Representative of respondents Nos.2 and 3 does not controvert such position.

Accordingly, instant petition stands disposed of.
