At the out set, it is pointed by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that similar petition was decided by a Division Bench of this Court by judgment dated 20.10.2006 passed in C.P. Nos. D-2159/2001, 586/2003, 594/2003, 1505/2003 and 312/2005. Learned Counsel has further pointed out that the question regarding imposition of professional tax on corporate entities has also been decided by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan in the judgment reported as Province of Punjab Vs. Sargodha Textile Mills Limited (PLD 2005 SC 988) and states that this petition may also be disposed in the same terms. Learned A.A.G has no objection to such request of the petitioner’s Counsel.

Consequently, we dispose of this petition in terms of the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court as noted above and the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the above noted reported case with no order as to cost.
