Pursuant to Court directions, respondent No.5 Dr. Muhammad Bachal, Director SIMS Shahdadpur has shown appearance and requests for time to file comments.

Mr. Malik Naeem Iqbal learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if the petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents to convene a meeting of Board of Governors within a reasonable period of time for appointing a regular Director SIMS in accordance with law and the rules.

Respondent No.5 Dr. Muhammad Bachal present submits that he has no objection for disposal of the instant petition in the aforesaid terms, however, submits that he is also entitled to be considered for appointment as regular Director SIMS in accordance with law.

Learned A.A.G submits that there seems no impediment if the instant petition may be disposed of in the aforesaid terms, however, submits that some reasonable time may be granted to do the needful.

Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents No.2 to 4 to convene a meeting of Board of governors within a reasonable period of time, however, not later than two months from the date of this order for the purposes of appointment of a regular Director SIMS in accordance with law. However, it is clarified that if respondent No.5 is found to be eligible for such appointment then he may also be considered in accordance with law. Let copy of this order be supplied cover-in-hand to the learned A.A.G who shall communicate to the official respondents to ensure compliance.

Petition stands disposed of in above terms.
