This petition has been filed by the petitioner for the suspension of sentence awarded to him in Spcl. Case No.65/2015 by the Special Judge Anti-Terrorism Court Naushahro Feroze vide judgment dated 25.10.2016. As per jail roll dated 27.02.2017, the petitioners have served out the sentence of four months and two days. As the sentence is short one and due to backlog of the huge pending appeals, there is likelihood of delay in the decision of the main appeal.

Learned Assistant Advocate General Sindh has also conceded for the suspension of the sentence to the petitioners.

Consequently, the sentence awarded to the petitioners is hereby suspended till decision of Cr. Appeal No.D-207/2016 on their furnishing a solvent surety in the sum of Rs.50,000/- each with P.R bond in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Additional Registrar of this court.

Instant petition bearing C.P. No. D-4652/2016 is hereby disposed of and Cr. Appeal No.D-207/2016 is adjourned to 26.04.2017.
