Though the petitioner has prayed for several reliefs in the petition but finally the learned counsel for the petitioner places on record a letter dated 25.03.2015, issued by the Deputy Director General, HR Department, Employees Old Age Benefits Institutions, Head Office, Karachi. This letter was written by Deputy Director General to the Secretary Board, Board of Trustees, Employees Old Age Benefit Institution for up-gradation of Assistant Director on completion of 15 years’ service as Executive Officer as per decision of the 48th BOT meeting held on 15.12.1998, which was duly approved by the Chairman for further necessary action. The letter is taken on record. When the learned counsel for respondents No.2 and 3 was confronted to this situation, he conceded that this letter was issued and he requests that at least 45 days’ time may be given to the respondents No.2 and 3 to convene a meeting of Board of Trustees for deciding the issue and the petition may be disposed of in these terms. Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the proposal. The petition is accordingly disposed of.

The interveners Asif Khan, Kanwal Wali, and Ali Murad Sipio, all Assistant Directors are present and submit that they have approached this Court to protect their seniority. Since petition is being disposed of on the basis of aforesaid letter alone, therefore, they do not want to proceed further with their applications. Accordingly, the pending applications also stand disposed of.
