        Mst. Shazia, Petitioner No.1 submits that she fallen in love with Maqsood Ahmed Memon, Petitioner No. 2, and they intended to contract their marriage, but her parents were not agreed for the same; that she being sui-juris sworn her affidavit of free-will and subsequently, contracted her marriage with Petitioner No. 2 on 26.04.2016 out of their love affair and since then spouses are living together happily; that neither she was abducted nor forced by Petitioner No.2 for contracting marriage against her wishes.

 

        Learned counsel for petitioners contended that petitioners would be satisfied if official respondents viz. Respondent No. 4, S.S.P. Sukkur; Respondent No. 5, D.S.P. A-Section, Sukkur and Respondent No. 6, SHO, P.S. New Pind, Sukkur may be directed to provide protection to both the petitioners.

 

        Pursuant to notice issued by this Court, SHO P.S. New Pind has filed a report regarding service of notice upon private respondents, however, none of them is present before the Court. He has also filed a copy of statement whereby Respondent No.4, S.S.P. Sukkur has already issued directives to provide protection to the petitioners.

 

        Learned State Counsel undertakes to provide protection to both the petitioners, as and when they will approach the concerned police station.

 

        Considering the above facts and circumstances, instant Constitution Petition is disposed of with directions to Respondent No. 4, S.S.P. Sukkur;  Respondent No. 5, D.S.P.    A-Section, Sukkur and Respondent No. 6, SHO, P.S. New Pind, Sukkur to provide protection to both the petitioners especially against Respondents 7 to 13 strictly in accordance with law. It is made clear that in case of any kind of harassment extended by private respondents, SHO, P.S. New Pindi, Sukkur shall lodge FIR against them.  A copy of this order may be transmitted to Respondents 4 and 6 for information and compliance.
