3&4.    It is inter-alia contended by the learned counsel that the petitioner is a proprietor of M/s. Habitt - Homestore, whose outlets are situated in various places of city of Karachi. Per learned counsel, the petitioner is a retailer and engaged in the business of selling of furniture and other house-hold items, whereas, the petitioner is not engaged in any kind of manufacturing activities, however, at the behest of Respondent No. 4, some officers in the garb of physical verification of premises of M/s. Habitt - Homestore located in Sector 7-A, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi raided such premises, caused harassment and seized certain documents without any Show-Cause Notice. Per learned counsel, there is apprehension that respondents may initiate some coercive proceedings against the petitioner without lawful authority, which will hamper the business activities of the petitioner, who is a registered person, making payments of all taxes, including Sales Tax and Income Tax, in accordance with law.  It has been prayed that the respondents may be restrained from causing harassment to the petitioner. 

 

                        Let pre-admission notice be issued to the respondents as well as D.A.G. for 30.08.2016,  when some officers of Respondent No. 4 shall be in attendance. In the meanwhile, respondents shall ensure that no harassment shall be caused to the petitioner, whereas, in case of any query or verification, Show-Cause Notice be issued to the petitioner, in accordance with law.
